With the Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship movie scheduled to be released on 21 Feb. It is an upcoming horror thriller film directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh and produced by Karan Johar.
Based on a real incident?
Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship is said to be inspired by MV Wisdom, the 9,000-tonne cargo ship that was found stranded on Juhu Beach in June 2011. It is a real-life incident based on a true accident that took place in Mumbai, what’s more, recounts to the tale of a couple on a deserted boat lying static on a seashore.

The two official trailers of the film were released on 19 July 2019 by the Bollywood actor Kaushal with the release date. Another set of posters were released on 13 September. After seven days, on 20 September, a notice was divulged to declare the new release date. The film announced two new posters on 30th January 2020.
The film was at first set to release on 15 November 2019 however later it got postponed and is currently scheduled to be released dramatically on 21 February 2020.

The official trailer of the film was discharged on 3 February 2020 by Dharma Productions.
The horror movie is going to be directed by debutant director, Bhanu Pratap Singh, who previously assisted Shashank Khaitan on Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014).
The film, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Ashutosh Rana, will hit the theatres this Friday (February 21) and will face a clash with Ayushmann Khurrana’s family drama movie Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhan.
