A few weeks ago, it was reported that Mohit Suri is all set to turn Ek Villain into a franchise and is working on the sequel of the same. The filmmakers even announced that he would be working with his Malang and Aashiqui main lead, Aditya Roy Kapur in the same.
It was also under the rays of speculation, that John Abraham would be the other lead in the thriller film. Mohit and Aditya were looking forward to working on the same but had to stall due to the lockdown situation owing to coronavirus pandemic. What can one do, except opting for work from home?
Now, obviously not shooting but other things that require working on and do not need to meet up in person like shooting for the film. If the sources that are close to the development, Aditya Roy Kapur and Mohit are discussing the actor’s character with the help of video calling. Aditya’s character will be seen in differ versions and mannerisms.
The next step for both of them is physical preparation, for which they will start up with a fitness routine,” a source revealed while it also mentioned that the film is likely to release in the second half of the year 2020.
Aditya and director Mohit Suri were going to meet for the reading sessions so that the psyche of the villainous character is well understood, however, now they will have to work from home until the lockdown period announced by the government is in place, as mentioned by the source.
Meanwhile, the director is busy with planning the action and chase sequences for the film opened up on his bond with the actor, Aditya Roy Kapur.
